I think I have posted this image on the blog every year since our first year in our home. Ok, so twice. But, still it brings back such good memories, and we can’t go get our tree and decorate it without taking this situation into consideration. This was the conversation between Greg and I…
Greg: I’m going to hand this ornament low so Ludlow can play with it. (hangs ornament on lower branch)
Sara: That’s crazy! Our cat Wembly knocked our tree over when I was little. Don’t give Ludlow any temptations! (moves ornament back to higher branch)
Greg: (moves ornament back to lower branch)
Greg & Sara: (go to dinner)
Ludlow:
It was hysterical! We arrived home to this scene.
Ludlow: I didn’t do it.
At least, that’s what I think he meowed. So, this year there are very few ornaments on the lower branches and the tree is still standing! Greg set up a mini tree with a few ornaments for the cats, but they don’t seem too interested in such small adventures.
Happy Holidays to you and your families! 2009 was an absolute blast, and I am so thankful to my incredible clients for sharing in it with me! Lots of fun things on the agenda for 2010!!! I’m headed to Florida on Sunday, so I’ll catch you after the new year!
