Love this family! It was like getting together with old friends. We were rained out, and days later got the best day. Miss Lucy has her Bat Mitzvah next year, so we focused on her, but grabbed some great family shots while we were out. Thank you Kellers for such a great afternoon!

This was an incredible day for sure! I was so honored to be a part of Katie & Bryan’s celebration. I have known Katie her entire life. It just so happens that Katie’s dad and my dad are childhood friends. So her dad is my Uncle Bob, and my dad her Uncle Fred. It was quite a day filled with love, happiness, family and friends. I know Bryan’s mom was a bit worried about a “family friend” doing the photography, so hopefully these bring a smile to her face:)
Thank you Katie & Bryan for such an incredible experience. I loved being a part of your day as well as the time we spent for your engagement shoot. Glad you are now in the neighborhood too! Photo Booth pics coming soon!! Congrats!

It’s that time of year! The colors on the trees have arrived, and I am busy as can be! I’m a little behind right now, so wanted to let you know that your blog posts are coming! These are the shoots I have in the works, and will have blog posts up as soon as I can! This is also the order in which I’m doing them. It’s going to be a busy week. Enjoy the great weather!

Love this entire shoot! It was so hard to choose! It was great reconnecting with this young lady and her mother. It’s been awhile since our last shoot. I got to hear about all kinds of college plans, and the possibility of going to my alma mater, Miami of Ohio! Woo-hoo! Thank you Samantha for such a great shoot at one of my favorites spots!

So, I’ve been working overtime to get everyone’s images done in a timely manner, and I’ve fallen a little behind in my blogging lately:) Still trying to figure out the work/life balance with our little one at home, and figured it best to get all of the images completed and catch up on blogging when I had a moment to catch my breath. So, here is a little flash back to summer. 2 of my favorite Crystal Lake families! I merged them together, because they are that awesome! And, we also shot at the same location…private Lake Michigan beachfront…need I say more! It has become one of my favorite spots to shoot at, and I look forward to seeing my Michigan families every year! Thank you Watsons and Buntains not only for fantastic photo shoots, but for a memorable summer!!

He’s getting so big! I can’t believe this is already our 3rd shoot of his Newborn Collection! You may remember his first shoot here, or his 6 month shoot here. I just love him. His smiles through his thumb are my favorite! And, he doesn’t have a preference of thumb. Love it. Thank you Eli for a great morning!

I love this time of year! The heat is gone, and the weather is just perfect for family pictures. Plus, I get to hang out with some of my favorite families! This one has added a little guy since the last time I have seen them. He is so precious! I loved everything about this shoot…great weather, cute outfits, fun group, perfect location, and my new favorite family shot! Thanks Butler family!!

I love getting the call from this family. I’ve shot them a handful of times now, and I just love them! So easy going, and so fun! Thank you Birge’s for a wonderful shoot!!

It’s that Senior time of year! Meet the lovely Brooke. We had some hurdles in getting the shoot together…rain, 100 degree heat, injury, but all for good. We had the most beautiful night of the summer! It was great to be back at the IMA, and to find some new spots to shoot in. I had a joy working with this family, and was thrilled we were able to get it done before her brother went back to school:)

And, we grabbed her brother for a couple of shots too!

Check out these cuties! I have known their Aunt Laurel for a long time, and have heard so many stories about them. So, I was thrilled when their mom called to set up a session. We had a great time exploring their backyard, climbing trees, and enjoying the end of summer!
